Otomatik Sigorta Nedir?

Otomatik sigorta bulunduğu devreyi yüksek akım ve kısa devre akımlarından koruyan bir anahtarlama elamanıdır. Otomatik sigorta üzerinde belirtilen nominal akımın üzerinde bir akım geçişinde devreyi otomatik olarak keserek alıcıların yüksek akımdan zarar görmelerini engeller. Otomatik sigortalara W otomat, v otomat,mintyatür devre kesici olarakta isimlendirilir. Otomatik sigortalar eskiden kullanılan buşon ve NH Bıçaklı sigortalardan daha güvenlidir ve eski sigortalar gibi tek kullanımlık değildirler.
